Group 2. Activity 2.1

September 24 - 25, 2009

San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina, will host the activity 2.1 of group 2. This workshop on strategic planning in preparation for formulation of local drug treatment plans, in cooperation with national drug commissions,  will take place September 24-25, 2009.

The group 2, on Improving drug treatment services in EU and LAC cities, aims to develop actions aimed at improving drug treatment services at the municipal level (between cities from Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean) in collaboration with other regional and national agents, as well as with the health systems. The different activities within this group cover the following areas of work: data collection, design and development of a local rapid assessment, needs assessment, planning, capacity building, and treatment system evaluation
