THIS EVENT WILL BE CONDUCTED IN SPANISH ONLY. EU-LAC WILL PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE TRAINING EVENT IN 2010

Place: San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina
Date: September 24 - 25, 2009

In this occasion, this event is being organized by the Municipality of San Miguel de Tucuman, the Secretariat for Programming Drug addiction prevention and the fight against drug trafficking (SEDRONAR in Argentina), the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD), of the Secretariat for Multidimensional Security of the Organization of American States (OAS), and funded by the European Commission.

This event corresponds to Group 2 of CICAD’s EU-LAC Project (Improving drug treatment services in EU and LAC cities) Please note that this will not be a plenary-debate meeting, but rather a high-level workshop and training event. The profile of the participants for this activity (September 23, 24, 25, and 26, 2009), is as follows:

Persons responsible for drug treatment at a local level
o Directors of treatment programs,
o People in charge of the local health treatment ssystem,
o Treatment area supervisors

This activity corresponds to group 2 of the EU-LAC 2008-2010 collaborative actions.
