Local public policies in drug dependency, an integrated approach:
from prevention to treatment

The Segovia city forum will take place on October 14-17, 2009 (arriving October 14. The inauguration will be held in the evening of that first day). Segovia will include an integrated approach, making sure that exchanges of good practices and experiences cover drug prevention, and drug treatment (with special emphasis on brief intervention).
This activity is part of Group 1 of EU-LAC (Improving local public policies in drug treatment and inter-agency cooperation between cities of the European Union, Latin-America, and the Caribbean)

Segovia City Forum is organized by the city of Segovia (Spain), the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD), Secretariat for Multidimensional Security of the Organization of American States (OAS), under the umbrella of CICAD´s “EU-LAC Drug Treatment City Partnerships”, an initiative funded by the European Commission. On this occasion, this Forum is organized with the collaboration of the Spanish National Drug Commission (DGPND), Ministry of Health and Social Policies of the Government of Spain
